Job Description

1. Post Name : Assistant Manager (Grade A) Manager (Grade B) 2. Total Vacancies : 33 posts 4 posts. 3. Educational Qualification & Experience (Common pattern) : Generalist Streams (Grade A & Grade B): Postgraduate degree/diploma in any discipline or professional qualifications such as LLB/BA+LLB, Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), CMA/ICWA, B.Tech/B.E. with required post‑qualification officer‑cadre experience in Banks/Financial Institutions/PSUs/government or reputed organisations. Environment & Social Safeguard Streams: Engineering or Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences, M.Sc. or Post‑Graduation in Social Work, Sociology, Anthropology, Economics Development Services etc. with specified post‑qualification experience in environment and social impact assessment and safeguards. Experience requirement: At least 2 years’ officer‑cadre experience for Grade A; overall 7 years officer/executive experience (including minimum 2 years in relevant areas) for Grade B or equivalent grade in another FI/Bank/PSU. Candidates must have degrees from recognised universities/institutions (UGC/AICTE/Government approved) and possess strong communication, analytical, drafting and computer/IT skills. 4. Age Limit : Assistant Manager (Grade A): 21 to 30 years as on 28 February 2026 (candidate must have attained 21 years and must not have attained 30 years). Manager (Grade B): Upper age limit 40 years as on 28 February 2026 (candidate must not have attained 40 years). Relaxations in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, PwBD, Ex‑Servicemen and children/family members of 1984 riots victims are applicable as per Government of India rules. 5. Selection Process : The IIFCL Grade A & Grade B Selection Process 2026 is identical for both posts and consists of two phases – an online examination followed by a technical and behavioural interview. Phase I – Online Examination: Objective type, 200 marks, with two tests – Test I (Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Current Affairs related to Financial Sector – 100 marks) and Test II (Domain Knowledge – 100 marks). Total 150 questions, 120 minutes with sectional time limits, and negative marking of 1/4th of the marks for each wrong answer. Phase II – Interview: Candidates shortlisted based on Phase I performance will be called for an interview of 100 marks, which may be conducted in Hindi or English at IIFCL’s office in New Delhi. Final Merit List: Prepared by combining marks of Online Examination (Phase I) and Interview (Phase II) with a weightage of 40:60 respectively; candidates must qualify both stages and rank sufficiently high in merit to be selected. IIFCL may additionally conduct Group Discussion, psychometric tests or other assessment tools, and reserves the right to change the selection procedure or exam structure as notified on its website.
