Job Description

QUALIFICATION-The desired person should have proven experience in the field of Civil /Hydro/Marine Engineering with an experience of not less than 10 years in supervisory capacity i. Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering/ Mech marine engineering/ SR-1 from Indian Navy. ii. Experience: 10 years’ experience in ports/shipbuilding/hydrographic surveying in supervisory capacity. iii. Desired: Retired employees of Ports/IWT/ Indian Navy will be preferred. Pay Scale-Maximum of Rs. 48,000/- (Rupees Forty Eight Thousand per month only) and the remuneration of retired Central Government employees on contract basis, including as consultants is to be regulated in terms IWAI Office Memorandum No. IWAI-11014/65/2020- Admn dated 13.04.2021 which interalia categorically provides that the same cannot exceed 'Last basic pay drawn minus basic pension' Age Limit-Maximum 65 years. Responsibilities-i. Supervision of works being undertaken by IWAI through MPT under the tripartite agreement between MPT, CoP and IWAI. ii. Liasoning with State Govt/Captain of Ports Department/MPT, Govt of Goa/Stakeholders iii. Liasoning with Govt of Karnataka/Govt of Maharashtra/Govt of Gujarat and associated agencies for various NWS within these states
