Educational Qualification : Essential: Masters Degree or Integrated Masters in Transportation Engineering / Highway Engineering from a recognized university. Desirable: 1–2 years of experience in Transport Planning/Environment; knowledge of data analysis, statistical software, GIS, and simulation tools. Mandatory Requirements : Candidates pursuing PhD or higher degrees must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their institution. Engagement is purely temporary; no claim for permanent absorption is allowed. Cumulative engagement in CSIR projects cannot exceed 6 years. 4. Age Limit : Cut-off Date: Age is calculated as of the date of the walk-in-interview (11-02-2026). Project Associate-II: Maximum 35 years . Principal Project Associate: Maximum 40 years . 5. Selection Process : Since this is a Walk-in-Interview, there is no written examination. The selection process involves: Document Verification: Verification of original certificates (educational, experience, ID proof). Shortlisting: If a large number of candidates appear, the Selection Committee may shortlist based on qualifications/experience. Interview: Personal interview to assess research background and suitability for the project. Final Merit: Selection is based on the combined performance in the interview and academic background.
