1. Post Name : Senior Project Assistant 2. Total Vacancies : 01 (One Position). 3. Educational Qualification : Essential Qualification (Anyone of the following): M.Sc. in Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Science (or equivalent) from a recognized university. B.E./B.Tech. + Three years of research experience. B.Sc. (Zoology / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Science or equivalent) + Three years of research experience. Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. in the relevant subjects mentioned above. Research experience in Cell Culture, Molecular Studies, and Animal Handling will be preferred. Mandatory Requirements Ability to interact in English or Hindi before the Selection Committee. For candidates currently engaged in any project at CSIR-IIIM, obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory before applying. Terms and Conditions : Duration: The engagement is initially for One Year or until the project duration (up to 07.01.2028), whichever is earlier. It may be extended based on performance. Tenure Limit: The total tenure in all CSIR labs combined cannot exceed 5 years. Temporary Nature: This is a temporary position and does not confer any right for permanent absorption in CSIR-IIIM/CSIR. Disqualification: Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification. 4. Age Limit & Relaxation Maximum Age: 28 Years. Age Calculation Date: Age will be reckoned as of the Date of Interview. Age Relaxation: Relaxation in age limit will be granted as per Government of India Rules for SC/ST/OBC 5. Selection Process : The selection of candidates will be done based on the following stages: Screening: If a large number of applications are received, a Written Examination may be conducted for screening. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Online Interview via MS Teams. Document Verification: Original documents (Qualification, DOB, Caste, Age Relaxation) will be verified at the time of selection. Any discrepancy leads to cancellation.
